What does that look like? Let me show you……..

I was thrilled when I looked through my images and found this sequence of shots of Jim looking so incredibly excited to marry Kate!!!
Isn’t this what it’s all about???

I photographed a sweet wedding today….I’m going through the images now and this one grabbed my attention right away…The groom was a tad nervous before seeing his bride, can you feel the anticipation?

Feeling, my good friend Peggy Dyer says….What do you think? Even though these images were taken milliseconds apart, I think I prefer the softer one.
I wanted to write about something personal today.
Rejuvenate: To breathe new life into, exhilarate, recover, refresh, regenerate, reinvigorate, renew, restore, revitalize, spruce up, update……
This past year has been full of many learning experiences – some difficult and some so amazing, words simply can not describe them.
Every year, I try to take a trip to do just that – Rejuvenate. It’s a chance for me to reconnect with myself and the things that are important to me, to be my most creative self, to learn new things and experience life without any expectations. This year, I will be returning to an island that holds a really special place in my heart.
I will be blogging, so check back in a week or so !!!
Aloha (and Carpe Diem!)

water Sweet water

As promised, here are a few more photos from another shoot that was done for The Parlour. In the last set of photos, it was raining pretty hard. Our model Nikki was such a good sport as she stood there getting drenched! You can actually see the rain drops falling!!! More to come, thanks for looking!!!!

The Parlour, a local hair salon, asked me to help them with a new advertising campaign catering to the planning bride. We photographed models on location from different eras all with a common theme – red. All make up and hair done by The Parlour (of course!) Here is one of my favorites, more to come!
